travis peacock
The most important thing to know about Travis Peacock is that he is a great sinner saved by grace. For many years, he lived in rebellion against God and deserved to be lost forever, never knowing the love of Christ—but God, in His mercy, intervened. God opened Travis’s eyes to the truth of the gospel, leading him to believe that even the greatest sinners can be saved by His grace.
Travis has a deep love for theology. Since his conversion, he has been devoted to studying God's Word, always eager to wrestle with difficult questions to grow in his understanding. As a lifelong learner, he surrounds himself with friends and pastors who challenge him and help him continue growing in faith and knowledge.
Travis is also deeply in love with his wife, Danielle. After many years of praying for a partner who would share his passion for theology, evangelism, and an eternal perspective, God blessed him with Danielle. Together, they enjoy discussing the profound truths of Scripture while also cherishing the simple joys of life.
Personal Bio
Travis Peacock grew up in Southeast Georgia and experienced God’s gracious conversion in the fall of 1994. At the age of 17, he felt a clear call to enter gospel ministry. Following high school, he pursued studies in Bible and theology at a small Baptist college in Missouri. After earning his bachelor's degree in May 2000, Travis accepted a call to a church in Northern California, where he was ordained to the gospel ministry.
He later accepted a position at a larger church north of San Francisco, where he served as a staff pastor overseeing youth ministry and co-leading the missions team focused on Central Asia. During his time there, Travis gained invaluable practical experience in pastoral ministry, skills he continues to apply throughout his career.
After completing a Seminary degree in Theology from Liberty University, and after 10 years of ministry outside of Georgia, God providentially led him to serve a local church in a small waterfront suburb of Savannah, Georgia.
Since 2011, Travis has been serving at New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Richmond Hill, Georgia. He is an ordained Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and currently holds the position of associate minister at New Covenant.
Personal Words From Travis to all his friends and family
There are few days when God, in His goodness and grace, does not open a door for me to share the gospel, discuss theology, or encourage someone struggling in their faith. It is my hope that this website will serve as a source of encouragement to you, demonstrating how the gospel of Jesus Christ can save even a sinner like me. I will never cease to marvel at the fact that God not only saved me but continues to use me for His purposes. I pray that through this site, you will find hope in Christ because of His finished work on Calvary.
Many family members and friends often ask me theological questions. While I don’t have all the answers, I am blessed with dear friends who help guide me toward the wonders of the cross and the rich truths found in God's Word. Discussing Scripture is one of my greatest joys. If you need prayer, have questions about doctrine, theology, or want to know more about Christ as your Savior, please feel free to reach out to me at travispeacock@icloud.com or charleshaddon81@gmail.com.
